1. Tailoring morphology and bulk density of magnesium ethoxide particles with n-hexane and silicone oil addition


In this work, inert substances of silicone oil and n-hexane were introduced to change the solvent environment to tailor the preparation of magnesium ethoxide (Mg(OEt)2) particles. By the synergistic effect of n-hexane and silicone oil, uniform Mg(OEt)2 particles were obtained controllably with relatively small particle size and high bulk density.

 

2. Enhancing amination reaction of 4-nitrochlorobenzene in a tubular reactor


In this work, we attempted to introduce micromixer and tubular reactor to enhance the amination reaction of 4-nitrochlorobenzene in terms of process efficiency and safety. It was found the reaction system with highly excessive ammonia water could become homogeneous at high temperature. The multi-channeled sampling system and the self-circulation were introduced into the system.
